Located in the seaside town of Menton, Best Western Premier Hotel Prince de Galles is a 15-minute drive from Monaco and the Italian border. The property is full of history. In the past, it was used as a residence for the Prince of Monaco’s personal guards and just opposite of the Hotel is ‘Palais Carnoles’ which was the Prince of Monaco’s summer residence. The hotel welcomes lovers of the French Riviera since 1865.

What was the highlight of Best Western Premier Hotel Prince de Galles
Good
Room was clean, maintained on daily basis. Good wi-fi.
Despite long name, hotel is not big, room was not big, even destinated to 4 (family with 2 kids). Location is beach front, problem is the traffic, 24/24, many cars/motorcycles with loud pipes that makes a terrible noise day and nigh, all day/night long. Quality of air is very bad, very polluted, you only smell exhaust gases no matter where you are. You can check that on any app that shows air quality. Also, there is no sand beach nearby, only rocky seashore. Big hotels all over the world build sand beaches in places where nature missed them but are needed by tourists. Looks like it is too much for this one. No problem, Greece and Turkey are nearer. Forgot to mention, scarce breakfast (not included, eur 19), small parking in the street, on hotel front (not free, eur 25/day). Overall, not recommanded.

Overall very nice for a short stop over coming back from our trip to Italy
View and newly fitted room. Great view from room and balcony
Room a bit small for what we are used to but confortable for a couple of nights stay. The male employee at the front desk very welcoming and helpful. The female one ( Italian accent, do know her name) a bit rough and not very nice at all.
